Salisbury is family-home country. Most moves here are whole households: three and four bedroom homes, a garage, a shed in the back yard, kids’ bikes and a trampoline, often moving a few suburbs up the road or into a newer estate further north. Moveall moves households into, out of and around Salisbury and the northern suburbs on our list. Moving Company Adelaide is a service of Moveall Australia Pty Ltd, a South Australian owned and operated removalist.

Getting around Salisbury
Salisbury sits on the northern plains, crossed by three main roads that every move here uses: Main North Road on the east, Port Wakefield Road on the west and Salisbury Highway running across between them. The Little Para River winds through the middle, and the city centre around Parabanks is the busiest part of the area. The wider Salisbury area takes in neighbourhoods such as Salisbury North, Salisbury East, Salisbury Heights, Salisbury Park, Paralowie, Parafield Gardens and Ingle Farm, each with its own mix of streets.
Salisbury homes and what they mean for a move
- Established brick homes on wider blocks, usually with a driveway, which makes for a short carry from the truck.
- Newer estates with smaller blocks, narrow roads and cul-de-sacs, where cars on the kerb can make it hard to stand and turn a large truck.
- Salisbury Heights and Salisbury Park, towards the foothills, where some streets and driveways slope.
- Big sheds and garages: tools, garden gear, a workbench, outdoor furniture and sports equipment that can add a lot to a move.
The shed is the part of a Salisbury move people forget to count. A full garage or shed can hold as much as a bedroom, and it is often heavier. List it at the quote with the same care as the house: Moveall’s customer care team asks about bedrooms and living areas, access at both homes and heavy or bulky items, and under Moveall’s terms a fixed-price quote relies on the inventory list from the quote.
Getting the shed and garden ready
- Empty fuel from the mower, the whipper snipper and any other petrol tools.
- Bin or give away old paint, chemicals and gas bottles: flammable and dangerous goods should not go on the truck.
- Box the small things: loose tools, fittings and garden bits go in cartons, as Moveall’s terms ask for all loose items.
- Take down and clean the trampoline, the play equipment and the outdoor setting if they are coming, and tell us at the quote.
- Drain hoses and empty pots that are coming with you.

Moves around the north
Many Salisbury moves are short ones across the north. Mawson Lakes, next door, adds townhouses and apartments with stairs and shared driveways. Elizabeth, further up Main North Road, has established homes on wide blocks. Paradise, Modbury, Golden Grove and Tea Tree Gully to the east are family-home suburbs too, with Golden Grove’s loops and cul-de-sacs and some steeper streets towards the hills. All of them are on our list. A short move still needs a full plan: the furniture wrapped and loaded properly, the boxes packed and labelled, and the house empty by handover.
Moveall runs 3, 5 and 8 tonne pantechs, and the truck for your move is chosen from the inventory and the access. If you would rather not pack, Moveall’s Wrap & Pack service supplies every box and material and packs the house: see packing services. Moving with children and pets
Family moves are busy moves. Moveall’s terms ask for children, pets and other trades to be kept clear of the paths between the truck and the home, which is safer for everyone and keeps the day moving. If you can, have the kids and the dog spend the day with family or friends, or set up a closed room with their things in it. Pack a box of their favourite things that travels in the car, and set up their bedrooms first at the new home so the first night feels normal.

Questions people ask
Do you move between Salisbury and the other northern suburbs?
Yes. Salisbury, Mawson Lakes, Elizabeth, Paradise, Modbury, Golden Grove, Tea Tree Gully, Prospect and Walkerville are all on our list.
Will you move my shed contents and outdoor furniture?
Yes, as part of the household move. List them at the quote, box the loose items, and empty fuel from petrol tools first.
What can’t go on the truck?
Flammable and dangerous goods such as gas bottles, fuel, paint and pool chemicals. Keep valuables, documents and medicines with you.
My street is a narrow cul-de-sac. Is that a problem?
Tell us at the quote. We plan where the truck can stand and turn, and choose the truck with the street in mind.
